RJ Young Expands Reach and Widens Footprint

Southeastern Independent Office Equipment Dealer Expands in Existing Markets and Widens Footprint with New Markets.

RJ Young (RJY) has once again expanded its reach in existing Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi markets and also widened their footprint with new markets to now include Montgomery, Alabama; Mobile, Alabama; Gainesville, Florida and Jacksonville, Florida. The Nashville, Tennessee based company and third largest independent office equipment dealer in the Southeast reports a growth of over 5,000 in-field devices across the aforementioned markets.

To accommodate its continued growth, RJY has hired an additional 15 sales representatives and 12 service technicians. These employees will join the more than 520 employees of RJY to ensure high expectations of standards in sales and service. “As we continue to execute our growth strategy through acquisitions, we remain focused on delivering first-class service to each and every customer to ensure we exceed our customers’ expectations,” Chief Financial Officer of RJ Young, AJ Baggott was quoted as saying.

The company most recently acquired the Birmingham, Alabama based ACS Technologies, which serviced the greater Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Montgomery and Selma areas. The acquisition closed on March 28, 2017 and RJY’s Chris Clark has been appointed as Regional Sales Manager for the Alabama territories.

At present, RJ Young has 24 sales and service branch locations, two distribution warehouses located at its headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee and a second in Jackson, Mississippi.
