An office equipment supplier has rapidly expanded and moved to accommodate growth.

RJ Young has moved from 211 Frankfurt Circle in Birmingham, which had 5,500 square feet, to 4001 Farr Road in Bessemer, which has 15,000 square feet.

The new office is along the heavily traveled Morgan Road corridor, which is under construction for new Carvana and Lowe's facilities as well as a large subdivision.

The company's 40 employees have moved into the new facility, and the old building was sold. Those employees still serve the Birmingham and Montgomery markets in Alabama as well as Mississippi cities.

“We outgrew our space in Birmingham, resulting in the acquisition of a new building that will house sales, technical service and products,” said Regional Vice President Chris Clark. “This Bessemer location has excellent geographic access to the local interstates in Alabama,” he added.

According to a release, since 2017, RJ Young has nearly quadrupled its team member count in the Birmingham area.
